I began skating at the age of 6 in my hometown Pune, Maharashtra. Initially I started with the roller skating. For last 8 years I am into Ice skating and have represented India at various international events. I am very proud to be three time National Gold Medalist for  3 consecutive years, along with bronze medals in international events (500mtr, 1000mtr, 1500mtr categories) such as Asian Open Short Track speed skating trophy, Bangkok, Short track Speed Skating,Turkey, Singapore Short Track Ice Speed Skating National Championships, Singapore.

Being in Pune, I have very limited access to Ice Rinks, however I have attended various camps (conducted by various Skating associations such as Turkey  Ice Skating Federation, Philippine Skating Union, Bulgarian Skating Federation, Ice Skating Association of India) in India(Gulmarg, Delhi), Philippines, Turkey, Bulgaria etc, to sharpen my ice skating skills.

To compensate limited access to Ice Rinks I try and mimic the moves on roller skates to be in touch with Skating. Also, apart from skating I do Cycling and strength conditioning to strengthen my body and technique.

Currently I am perusing my SY BBA in MES Garware college, Pune.

I am practicing hard for upcoming camps and all National and international speed skating events in order to progress an inch towards my ultimate goal.
